Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens says a cell phone deal went bad Sunday night between several teenagers.

"A couple of teenagers were arranging to sell a cell phone to one of them. They showed up and ended up taking the victim to get some cash. When they came back, the teens exchanged the property and then the suspect said he wanted the phone back. He was planning on keeping the money. A couple of his friends showed up. They ended up chasing down the victim, punched him and took the phone. We had some officers nearby. They were able to find the car and stop it  Both the 16-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested on robbery charges."

In another incident, Clemens says a domestic assault resulted in an arrest Sunday night.

"A former boyfriend kicked in the side garage door to a home around 3:30 AM. The victim was home alone. Apparently he thought there was someone else in the house. That wasn't the case. But, he came in and started accusing her. He strangled her, punched her, and threw some other objects at her. She was able to get away and call 911. During the time she was on the phone, he grabbed some cash and left."

The former boyfriend was arrested on burglary and assault charges.
