Sioux Falls Police Arrest Man for Allegedly Exposing Himself in Front of Children

SIOUX FALLS – Sioux Falls police say a man exposed himself to a group of preschool children who were in the playground of a North End elementary school.

Officer Sam Clemens says a woman was driving past an apartment building in the 600 block of North Spring Avenue, across from the Hawthorne Elementary School playground, when she saw a man wearing only a robe, and he was partially exposing himself.

Clemens says the woman told police she was concerned because small children were in the playground, so she drove around the block past the building again, and she says the man had removed his robe and was standing there naked.

She told police the man went inside he building, came back out clothed, got into a car and left.

Clemens says police arrested David Lee Yocom, 54, on a charge of indecent exposure.
