A Sioux Falls man is charged with theft by deception after police say he went into three west-side casinos and told clerks the machines had taken his money without giving him credits.

Information Officer Sam Clemens says it began around 10:30 a.m. Monday morning and ended with the man's arrest around 2:30 p.m.:

Clemens says another casino gave the man $20, and he gambled on it until he cashed it out at $20.50.

It all ended at the Paradise Casino at 5109 West 12th Street when management checked a machine and the money in and out matched up.

Clemens says 53-year-old Gregory Keith Uhe was charged with three counts of theft by deception and resisting arrest.
