Sioux Falls Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting incident early Thursday morning in the 1300 block of East Sixth street.

"A guy pointed a gun at one person and in the direction of another person and then shot that gun," Police Spokesman Sam Clemens explained.

"We were able to find him just before midnight on Thursday. He was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault."

Clemens says police officers are searching for the weapon that was used in the shooting.

"There were no injuries and no property was damaged. When police made the arrest, there were no issues in that arrest. They did not find the gun. We are still looking for the weapon."

Clemens identified the suspect as 20-year-old Justin Lee Fast Horse of Sioux Falls.
