Our first blizzard of 2014 has proved to be a pretty good one. Although we have only picked up 1.7 inches of snow (still snowing) the city of Sioux Falls has issued a snow alert.

At first I thought it a little strange, but I imagine that there are spots in Sioux Falls where drifting of snow could be causing some pretty good pile ups.  Here's the update from the city website at siouxfalls.org.
