A home in northeast Sioux Falls sustained significant damage after being struck by a car during the middle of the night.

KDLT News is reporting the accident took place just before 3:30 AM on Wednesday, (November 29) at a home on the 800 block of North Leadale Avenue.

Authorities told KDLT News the drivers car crashed into the garage of the home. No word on whether the driver of the vehicle was injured during the crash, but no one inside the home was hurt.

KDLT News reports that fire crews were on hand at the scene of the accident to help stabilize the structure.

Strangely enough, this isn't the first time this particular home has been hit by a vehicle. KSFY TV is reporting that a car driven by a drunk driver struck the very same house back in April of 2015.

If I am the home owner, I'm giving some serious thought to sticking a for sale sign in my front yard right about now, since my home appears to be a vehicle magnet.
