A Sioux Falls family desperately needs your help.  Stephen and Ameina Wolf and their 3 children were riding in their Dodge Durango when it was involved in a terrible accident that left one Sioux Falls man dead at the scene at 41st and Minnesota Avenue.

Stephen Wolf is the sole bread winner in the family of five.  Without his income, the family is facing a terrible financial hardship finding the resources to pay for essentials like rent, food, and the things they need just to get by.

Ameina Wolf has had two surgeries for a spinal fracture and a broken left shoulder and faces more than a year of recovery.  She'll never be 100 percent.  She wasn't wearing a seatbelt.  She took it off moments before the crash to check on the baby who was buckled in in the second row of seats along with the other children.

She was launched into the second row with the children, 6 year old Anaya, 22 month old Samara and three and a half month old Silas.  By being thrown into the children, Ameina possibly saved one of them from being launched forward.

Thanks to the Wolf family, police officers plan to take the Dodge Durango they were riding in to child safety seat seminars to show parents why it's so important to buckle their child in.

Child safety seats without a doubt, averted an even bigger tragedy.  Despite everything, the Wolf family feels lucky and grateful to be alive.

Donations to the family can be made at any Home Federal Bank and Wells Fargo location.
