Sioux Falls Domestic Violence Survivor Speaks Out [VIDEO]

Melissa Hemmestad of Sioux Falls is a domestic violence survivor who offers a message of hope to women and men involved in abusive relationships.

Melissa is sharing her story in hopes it will encourage abuse victims to seek help.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  Aside from bringing awareness to the issue, the Take Back The Night Rally will be held October 18 at the Salisbury Science Center at the University of Sioux Falls.  The event begins at 6:00 p.m.
