Sioux Falls Woman Arrested Following Series of Armed Robberies
Police arrested a Sioux Falls woman in connection to two armed robberies that took place Monday.
Sioux Falls Police arrested Jennifer Jean Mitch on two counts of armed robbery. Items linked to two robberies were located in Mitch's vehicle.
The armed robberies took place on Monday at the Pump n Pak on South Western Avenue and HKV Liquor on West 41st St.
According to police, a white female entered the Pump n Pak armed with a knife and demanded money from the clerk. She was given money by the clerk and fled the store.
Later on, police were called to a second armed robbery at HKV Liquor. The owner of the store said the suspect had fled the store, after being refused any money.
No injuries were reported during the robberies.
Mitch, who was arrested without incident, is being lodged in the Minnehaha County Jail.
