A Harrisburg, South Dakota business has been approved, and thanks to a Revolving Economic Development and Initiative (REDI) Fund loan, Showplace Wood Products will be able to purchase new equipment, which will eventually bring new jobs to the company.

The funds will allow Showplace to add about 100 new jobs within the company over the next three years.  But this isn't the first time that Showplace has used the REDI fund program.  Since opening it's doors in 1999, Showplace has used the funds to add hundreds of jobs to southeastern South Dakota.

Showplace director of marketing Scott Korsten says that the support of the REDI fund has been important to growing Showplace Wood Products.

It's exciting and rewarding to again find it necessary to expand production capacity and add employees.

Showplace Wood Products, a manufacturer of high-end cabinetry based out of Harrisburg, South Dakota, is currently taking applications.

Governor Dennis Daugaard says that the REDI Fund is designed to promote job growth in South Dakota.  REDI Fund and other GOED financing programs information is available here.
