There are some moments in sports that you just can't put into words of how it happened. For Dakota Valley, they are probably still feeling that way.

Dakota Valley took a out-of-state trip to Nebraska to battle Wayne High School. The Panthers had the lead with just a few seconds left, only for Wayne to hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game to overtime. Ben Hoskins of Wayne High School hit the three.

Leading by two with .6 seconds remaining, and while inbounding the basketball, Hoskins was able to steal the ball and put a prayer of a half court shot up. The shot, somehow beating the buzzer, went right in giving Wayne High School a 76-75 win in overtime.

Wayne High School has released video that shows both the three pointer to send the game to extra minutes, and the final shot.

Dakota Valley managed to bounce back the next day defeating Webster Area 74-53.
