If you're anything like me, it's the little things at work that light me up!

Before I left on vacation I asked Mikey the engineer if we might have a different keyboard in the building that we could use in the Kickin' control room. It's a keyboard that everyone uses while they are on the air. It had been about 10 years without a different one so I thought we were due.

Today, when I got back from vacation, low and behold....a new keyboard. Ok, a different keyboard. It looks like it came from an HP computer circa 1989 but what the heck it's clean as a whistle!

I know...'little things must mean a lot to JD Collins.'  Gotta tell you it's a great way to start the new year out.

By the way, shout out to Mikey and John our engineers. When the weather gets cold like this it seems like it brings the weather out of transmitters and radio equipment. Thanks for all the cold late nights you spend keeping Kickin' Country on the air!
