According to ESPN, San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker will undergo an MRI on his calf, although he doesn't expect to miss any of the Western Conference Finals against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Parker says the MRI is "just to make sure" he's improving on schedule from the injury, which limited his effectiveness in the final two games of the Spurs' second-round series against Golden State.

In Game 2 of the series Parker managed a career-best 18 assists and 15 points.

He says his calf is feeling better and that the additional three days of rest between games comes at a 'perfect time.'
