Rookie’s Will Soon Be Tanner’s: But Where Will Rookie’s Go?

A restaurant based out of Kansas will soon be filling the space that Rookie's currently occupies. Tanner's Bar & Grill will make its new home on Louise Avenue by September.

Rookie's plans to be out of their current location by the end of the month. Rookie's will then move into the lounge area of The District. The District is in the process of rebranding The Woodfire Grill.

Tanner's Bar & Grill is upscale bar food but definitely still a sports bar with plenty of TVs. Tanner's is in five states with 18 locations. Their location in Omaha has been doing very well, it even won awards in Omaha Magazine. 

The new venture means jobs. Tanner's expects to hire 20 to 40 people. So keep your eye out this Summer.
