The pounding and scraping that I've been hearing throughout the neighborhood, is now on top of our house.

A few weeks ago, I was talking with Carmen with PuroClean/Eberts Construction. I was concerned that we might be getting a little late in the year to put the new roof on our home in Southeast Sioux Falls. Looks like we're going to make it.

This morning, Molly the dog was the first to hear the crew at the door. If you have pets, you probably had to buy a treat or two after getting the roof done. It's pretty unsettling for them. After the initial noise and commotion they finally settled down.

The people at State Farm Insurance have been great to work with, both on my car and the roof of our home. Monte and the crew here in Sioux Falls do a great job walking homeowners through the process. And believe me, it's quite a process.

I'll keep posted on their progress. Big concerns now, will the new colored shingles work with the paint scheme we want to pull off next.

Oh, I was wondering if the crew would consider raking the yard and putting up Christmas lights when they're done. There seems to be a lot of that going on now.
