Sheldon Iowa Woman Wins
Even though nobody won Saturday’s $88 million dollar Powerball prize, one Sheldon, Iowa woman will still take home a pretty good chunk of change.
Debbie Schilling matched the first 5 numbers but missed the Powerball number, which means she claims $1 million in prize money. Last Saturday’s winning numbers were 11, 12, 17, 39, 40 and the Powerball was 5. She purchased the ticket at a convenience store in Sheldon and claimed her winnings from the Iowa Lottery headquarters on Monday.
Debbie and her husband will be putting some of their lotto winnings away for retirement and using some of the money to help family members.
With nobody winning the jackpot last Saturday, the prize for Wednesday’s drawing should climb to an estimated $108 million dollars.
