The Minnesota Timberwolves will see their final six games of the season go by without starting point guard Ricky Rubio.

A ankle injury will sideline Rubio for the final six games of the regular season according to head coach Flip Saunders.  He had missed nine games leading up to the decision with the injury to his ankle.

It's just another disappointing injury in the disappointing career to this point for Rubio.  Never living up to expectations to this point, he continues to deal with injury issues including some earlier in this NBA season.

The Timberwolves will miss the playoffs once again this season, continuing the decade plus playoff drought for Minnesota.
