Rascal Flatts Super Fan!

Tonight is a big night for Sioux Falls.  It's concert time again at the Sioux Falls Arena and fans are pumped. Opening act Sweetwater Rain and The Band Perry will set the stage and prep the evening for headliners Rascal Flatts.

As Brand Manager for Kickin' Country I'm embarrassed to say that I have yet to see Rascal Flatts in concert!  It's just worked out that way. Many times the tours kick off here in Sioux Falls and they hit right around bow hunting season.  Between tree stand sitting and 'giving away tickets' to eager fans, I've just missed them.   Tonight that's about to change.

One fan, and I might add a Kickin' Country listener, Janel has seen Rascal Flatts 45 times. Amazing. I've talked to her on the phone several times while she's sitting in an airport somewhere, you guessed it, headed to a Rascal Flatts Concert.

So this morning, while I was nursing an 8 O'Clock Original at the breakfast table I saw this note on twitter.

It says a lot about Janel's love of Country Music and her borderline obsession with Rascal Flatts.  It also shows something we've known for years at Kickin' Country.  Country Music Fans are the best Fans in the world.

Do you see a ton of non Country acts touring?  No. Their fans don't or won't support them.  It's people like Janel that keep Country Music Strong and vibrant and the smokin' hottest format in America!

Sweetwater Rain will just add to the night.  The Band Perry are for all rights a Headlining Act right now.  Rascal Flatts is just helping pass the torch!

Thanks for tweeting the pic of the ticket Janel.  In a way it is a 'throwback Thursday.' Might want to keep that stub from tonights show.  It might have 'meaning' in 10 or 12 years.
