Rapid City Carjacking Suspect Hurt in Police Chase
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A carjacking in Rapid City ended when the suspect rolled the vehicle following a chase with police.
Police say the male suspect stole a car from a man in a parking lot at gunpoint Monday afternoon, and later rolled it on Interstate 90 after authorities who gave chase used road spikes to flatten the tires.
The suspect was taken to a Sturgis hospital with what police said were non-life threatening injuries. He was not immediately identified.
