An electrical problem caused a traffic ripple on 57th Street in Sioux Falls on Thursday as a lane was closed west of Cliff Avenue.

Xcel Energy was performing utility work in the area of Linwood Wesleyan Church which closed down one lane of traffic heading east.  The lane closure only took from the east driveway of the church to Mac Arthur Lane.  The work should be completed within one day.

Motorists are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling through the construction area.
