Puppy Rescued at Sea

A lost puppy was rescued in the gulf of Naples after falling off a ferry. The dog, named Noodle, fell from a ferry en route to the Island of Ischia after slipping free from his leash.

The puppy approach a boat crewed by RYCC Savoia club members who hoisted the cold and exhausted Labrador out of the water. Owner Mario Di Meglio said the ferry's crew refused to stop to rescue the dog, saying Noodle had most likely drowned.

The pup has since been reunited with his family.
