Postal Service: Mail on Saturday to Stay [POLL]

If the memo was sent that stated over $2 billion annually would be saved by removing Saturday mail deliver, the United States Congress didn't get it.

The united State's Postal Services' plan to end Saturday delivery was foiled by Congress Thursday.

Reuters reports that Congress traditionally has included a provision in legislation to fund the federal government each year that has prevented the Postal Service from reducing delivery service. The Postal Service had asked Congress not to include the provision this time around.

The Postal Service, according to annual budget reports, is in such dire financial need that it must implement all measures to resolve its problems.

Several polls have shown a majority of the public support ending six-day delivery of first-class mail. What is your opinion?
