Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says a 15-year-old male student at Roosevelt High School brought LSD with him to school.

"He was really just wandering the halls and not following directions. He wasn't really disrupting anything at school. The staff kind of let him be. His behavior turned and during the afternoon he interrupted a class with a teacher and student. At that point in time, a decision was made to arrest him for failure to vacate and disturbing school. Once the officers arrested him, they found he had some LSD in his pocket. He was also arrested for drug charges."

Clemens says LSD is not usually found in Sioux Falls.

"LSD isn't something we see all the time. We come across it at times. It's probably something the drug detectives come across as part of their investigations. But, to have a 15-year-old with LSD at school is not something we see."

The student was turned over to his mother.
