A Sioux Falls man is wondering where his property is.

Police say the man's former live-in girlfriend had obtained a protection order requiring him to stay away for a few days from the mobile home they shared on West Tanager Place, in the western part of the city, so she could remove her property.

Officer Sam Clemens says when the 48-year-old man returned, his ex-girlfriend's belongings were gone, along with his television, vacuum, grill, DVDs, and clothing - pretty much everything of value.

He says the man's ex is suspected because she was supposed to retrieve her property, but as he puts it, "they took all the other stuff, too."

Clemens says the missing property was valued at $3,600. He says the ex, who was not located, could be charged with theft.

Names were not released.
