PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - A Pierre woman accused of stealing more than $38,000 from area Girl Scout troops has pleaded not guilty.

KCCR radio reports that a trial date was not immediately set for 46-year-old Bonnie Gallagher. She faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

Authorities allege Gallagher took the money between October 2007 and this past August. She was indicted in September on a grand theft charge and entered her plea Tuesday.
