Pierre Teen Dies in Shooting; Second Teen Detained
PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - Police in Pierre say a 16-year-old boy was killed in a shooting in the city.
KCCR radio reports that the shooting occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police Capt. Elton Blemaster says the boy died of a gunshot wound. He says another 16-year-old boy is being detained while the investigation continues.
