People are going crazy over the new challenge that has hit the internet by storm. Already over 130 million people (whether they want to admit trying it or not) have attempted to reach around their back and touch their belly button.

The Belly Button Challenge started on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter. In just a few days, this viral trend has spread globally and has everyone doubting their flexibility and just how physically fit they actually are.

It sounds like a pretty simple challenge. Simply take one arm, wrap it around your back and see if you can touch your belly button. Of course the two main factors that either helps or hinders your ability to successfully complete this challenge are flexibility and size of your waist.

This challenge supposedly started with an unknown study done in the United States, saying that women with 'good bodies' can do the challenge and of course those of us who cannot complete it, have 'bad bodies, should exercise and need to lose weight.' The next step would be to take a picture, video or vine of yourself trying to execute the Belly Button Challenge and put it on the internet - then just wait for those judgmental critiques to roll in.

Think you have what it takes to pass the trending Belly Button Challenge? I attempted, both standing by my desk and sitting in my chair at my desk. According to this mythical study done in the United States, I better start that diet today and start stretching out.

Take a look at some successful and not so successful Belly Button Challenges. And don't worry -- I won't judge if you can't do it either.
