Wedding bells are in the air! Parmalee bassist Barry Knox married his longtime girlfriend, Kristin "KJ" Joyner, over the weekend. On Saturday (Oct. 21), the couple were wed at Secrets Wild Orchid in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The beachside nuptials were witnessed by close family, friends and bandmates, according to a press release.

The newlyweds have some time to themselves before Parmalee are set to kick off their headlining tour next week. The band's Hotdamalama Tour will begin on Nov. 3 at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, Pa. and runs through December. The tour borrows its name from one of the songs on the band's latest album, 27861.

Before their album was released in July, the group shared some of their favorite songs from 27861 with Taste of Country. One of those songs unsurprisingly includes "Hotdamalama."

"There's so many good ones, there's so many different kinds of songs on this album," the musicians say, pointing to "Hotdamalama" and "A Guy Meets a Girl" as two particular favorites.

"A Guy Meets a Girl" is "a great story song," while "Hotdamalama" features an unusual lyric about a country girl that the group laughingly say might need an interpreter. Some unusual phrases include "Delta donk" and other Southernisms which crop up throughout the album.

"It's about a hot girl," they explain, clarifying that a "Delta donk" is a "nice butt."

Ahead of the album's release, Parmalee took over some of their fans' day jobs in a hilarious clip called Parmalee for the People.

"Parmalee for the People was an incredible experience for us as a band," says lead singer Matt Thomas. "Not only did we have a blast traveling the country and trying our hand at different jobs, it was also a unique opportunity to dive into the daily lives of our fans and connect with them on a more personal level."
