Lori and I did a lot  over the weekend.  Since it was too rainy to work on the garden or the lawn, we turned our attention indoors.  The dreaded clutter in the basement.

We just got tired of all the junk there.  I'm talking good junk.  Stuff people would like to have, but we just don't use it anymore and it was taking up space.

My daughter Kara suggested to Lori to sell it on Craigslist.  I know a lot of people sell stuff there all the time.  I also heard a lot of bad stuff about the website.

Kara came over and took a bunch of pictures of the items Lori wanted to sell and posted them.  Within two hours, all of the stuff had sold!  Lori and I were both amazed at how fast it went!  I had thought the stuff would be posted for days and maybe only some of it would sell.

Lori is so excited, she plans to put more stuff up for sale.  I don't blame her.  It was great to be able to unload the unused stuff quickly, locally and have some cash in hand for our next home project.

It was much quicker and easier than going to the trouble of holding a garage or yard sale.  Kara says she sells and buys stuff on Craigslist all the time.  Now I know why.
