One Less Member On Walton’s Mountain [Video]

One more member has left Walton's Mountain.  Joe Conley who played storekeeper Ike Godsey on the hit TV show The Waltons died Sunday at the age of 85.

His character, Ike Godsey was the storekeeper who was married to Cora Beth on Walton's Mountain.  The show followed the Walton family living in the mountains of Virginia during The Great Depression. The show was based on the book Spencer's Mountain by Earl Hamner, Jr.

Conley was battling dementia and was living in a care facility at the time of his death.
