North Marion Road Concrete Repairs Begin Monday in Sioux Falls

Beginning Monday construction crews will be working on North Marion Road between the railroad right of way at Ninth Street and Fifth Street.

Work will consist of concrete pavement repairs, which will include single lane closures. One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open at all times during construction. Work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather conditions.

In addition, sections of Marion Road will be closed for asphalt paving. Access into neighborhoods from Marion Road will be maintained, but residents may need to access from either 60th Street North or Maple Street during the project.

The paving is expected to be completed on Monday, with final project completion of July 29, 2013, with weather permitting.

Motorists are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling through the work zone.
