Chuck Brennan is purchasing Huset's Speedway from the current owners, the Rubin family. Rubins have operated the track for 28 years.

The track has been named Huset's Speedway since Tilman Huset founded it in 1954. When Brennan takes over the operation at the end of the 2015 season, the name of the facility will change to Badlands Motor Speedway.

Brennan held a press conference Thursday afternoon to lay out his plans for the racing program. What he announced is sure to shake the racing community.

He is moving the main racing program to Saturday nights from Sunday night. He will run lower classes of cars on Sunday nights.

The admission for fans on Saturday nights will range from $10 to $100 depending on where you sit. There will be reserved seats now.

The money paid to racers will increase as the fan gate admission increases. He announced a $200,000 event coming up in August that will be a farewell to Huset's Speedway.

That event will be a four day festival consisting of a concert on Thursday night followed by three nights of racing.
