The landscape is changing in Nebraska. The Cornhuskers announced today that Bo Pelini has been released as head coach.

Pelini went 67-27, and 3-3 in bowl games, in seven full seasons. During his time at Nebraska, Pelini never finished a season with less than 9 wins. He took over for Bill Callahan after a 5-7 season in 2007.

This season the Huskers went 9-3 during the regular season. The team suffered losses to Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. The Huskers will still have an upcoming bowl game, but will do so with a different head coach.
