Mom’s Sign to a Pumpkin Thief
Becky Reina of Washington, D.C. has sent a clear message to whomever stole the pumpkin from her front porch.
In an interview with GoodMorningAmerica.com, Becky said, “It was just the mom in me that got upset.”
The sign garnered a lot of attention in her neighborhood, but also on her Facebook page. However, it wasn’t until her neighbor posted a picture of the sign on Reddit did it really go viral.
The sign reads: “To the person who stole my son’s pumpkin: Thank you for the life lesson, this will help teach him that sometimes people are mean for no reason, and you have to just brush it off. Because my son is two years old and cannot read the sign, I will add, you are an ***hole.”
I added a little “digital spray-paint” over the offensive word but you get the point.
By the way, her 2-year-old son, Tommy, still plans to dress as a mummy for Halloween and trick-or-treat in his family’s neighborhood
