The M&M's number 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota of Kyle Busch topped the field Sunday in NASCAR Sprint Cup. Busch won the STP 500 race at Martinsville.

He did it in complete dominating fashion leading 352 of the 500 laps. Plus it was a weekend sweep as he won Saturday's truck race also.

He had never won at the Virginia track across any series. But this time it was two trips to victory lane in as many days.

Right behind Busch on Sunday was AJ Allmendinger in the number 47 Chevrolet. I felt this race would see some drivers looking for first time wins come in strong.

And it was the case with Kyle Larson finishing up in third and Austin Dillon fourth. I was hoping for Danica Patrick to be up there, but she was back in 16th.

Series points leader Kevin Harvick finished 17th. Fifth place ended up being scored to Brad Keselowski.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and David Ragan tangled just five laps into the race, spinning out Junior's number 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet. The incident put Earnhardt a lap down, but he recovered to finish 15th.

Defending race-winner Denny Hamlin lost control of his number 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota on Lap 220 and hit the outside wall hard. He finished 39th.

Next race is at Texas Motor Speedway Saturday night.
