Mitchell Corn Palace Getting an Upgrade

The Corn Palace in Mitchell is getting a makeover! Construction has begun on a $7.2 million upgrade to the popular tourist attraction. The upgrade to the Corn Palace will include new domes and lighting, larger murals and a walk-out balcony above the marquee.

The building's main entrance will be closed but the box office will be moved to a temporary entrance.
