Have no fear Minnesota Wild fans. Nino Niederreiter and Mikael Granlund have signed new contracts with the team.

Niederreiter received the first contract from the Wild. The new contract is a five-year extension worth $26.25 million. He will be with Minnesota through the 2021-2022 season. The 24-year old has appeared in a minimum of 80 games over the last four seasons for Minnesota, and has scored 83 goals (of 85 in the NHL) for the team.

Granlund has been with the Wild since he got into the NHL in 2012, and he will be staying with the team until at least the 2020 season. The Wild and Granlund have agreed to a new, three-year contract worth $17.25 million. Granlund has posted 64 goals in his Wild career along with 155 assists.

Minnesota opens the season on October 1st in Detroit.
