It has been a struggle for Vikings kicker Blair Walsh this season, and now the team has had enough. Walsh has been released from his contract.

Tom Pelissero of USA Today first broke the news Tuesday morning.

The Minnesota Vikings confirmed the release just minutes later.

Walsh has gone 12-16 on field goal attempts, and 15-19 in point after attempts in 2016. His struggles have continued after missing a potential game winning 27-yard field goal against Seattle in the NFC Wild Card Round back on January 10, 2016.
