MDA Gala and First Friday Art and Wine Walk

How does your social calendar look for the first part of October? Here's a couple of dates to consider that will keep you right here in Sioux Falls.

First up on Thursday (October 5) the local Muscular Dystrophy (MDA) chapter will be hosting the Sioux Falls Toast to Life Gala. The Toast to Life will a silent auction, live painting by Jillian Gunlicks & Hannah Wendt, a Diamond Dig, live entertainment by Nick Burke and a plated dinner.

Reception begins at 6:00 PM at Blue Haven Barns and Gardens.

Then one of our favorites First Friday (October 6) will feature the Fall Art and Wine Walk downtown Sioux Falls. If you missed out on the one in May do not miss this one!

Enjoy shopping, art and entertainment during First Friday with many stores staying open later.

The corks are pulled beginning at 5:00 PM. Viewing the art and meeting artists is FREE, and for just $20, you'll get a wristband to enjoy one sample of wine at each location. You can also purchase wine by the glass for $5.

Wristbands can be purchased at any participating location.
