Sioux Falls made the necessary adjustments from the Sunday loss to Canton and got a Tuesday night win 113-109 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center with 1,843 souls on hand.

Two days earlier, the Charge (25-16) used a hot-shooting fourth quarter to dispatch the Skyforce.  This time the score was tied at 96 with 4:18 left.  From there it was Anthony Mason, Jr. on a mission.  Driving the lane and the shot clock about to expire Mason flipped an underhanded shot off the glass with 2:10 left to push the Sioux Falls (24-17) lead to 103-99. After Canton responded with a bucket, Mason came through again by posting up on the left side and sweeping across the lane to score in traffic to make it 105-101.  The lead grew to 109-101 after a slam by A.J. Davis and one more Mason moment a 22-footer off the glass with 37.9 left.

Mason finished with 27 points on 11-15 shooting, 6 rebounds and 3 steals to prod the Skyforce attack.  Supporting the effort was Henry Walker who tallied 23 and Tre Kelley mustered 21 counters.  Larry Drew II was also a key figure with 14 points and 12 assists.  Walker and Drew’s contributions were captured on the accompanying footage.

For the Charge, Olek Czyz came off the bench to notch the highest point total with 22.  Shane Edwards and Gilbert Brown were next with 21 points apiece.  Both teams shot well from the floor going at a 56 percent clip for the game.  That statistic is somewhat remarkable because both teams take pride in their defensive abilities.  DeAndre Liggins was also notable in his absence after being recalled to the Miami Heat prior to the game.

Canton will continue their homestand with the Los Angeles D-Fenders arriving for a two-game set starting Friday.  Sioux Falls is headed for Tulsa to face the 66ers on Thursday night.
