You asked for it and you're getting it. Whenever we do a Facebook poll asking what stores you'd like to see come to Sioux Falls, Marshalls and HomeGoods are always on the list.

Folks, it's happening.

Both stores will be setting up shop at Lake Lorraine. According to KELO-TV, HomeGoods and Marshalls filed building plans with the city on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.

HomeGoods offers an ever-changing selection of unique home fashions in kitchen essentials, rugs, lighting, bedding, bath, furniture and more priced 20-60% off department and specialty store prices.

Marshalls carries trendy designer fashions for the whole family, plus shoes, handbags, home decor and more. Selection is constantly changing. Marshalls is the nation’s leading off-price retailer. When department stores order too much merchandise, Marshall's buyers negotiate a deal to bring those labels to the store, which means you save money.

Lake Lorraine is a retail development located south of 26th Street, east of Marion Road and just west of I-29. You've probably seen the construction as you're driving on I-29 by 26th Street. The development will have major retailers and dining options. One of the features of Lake Lorraine is a one-mile path around a spring-fed lake.

Some of the national retailers already announced at Lake Lorraine include Hobby Lobby, Ross Dress for Less, DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, Carters and OshKosh B'gosh.
