A woman suffering from a reaction to a marijuana-laced brownie led authorities to the discovery of a marijuana grow operation on a rural Brandon farm.

Authorities responded to the 1100 block of North Chestnut, just east of Brandon, south of I-90.

Captain Jason Gearman says as they attended to a possible overdose of marijuana with a female patient, a search warrant revealed "a couple" of grow operation rooms which were dismantled, the discovery of cocaine residue and several firearms including an illegal short rifle.

Two people were arrested. Jessie Ellofson, 35, and Jessica Farley, 37, are charged with marijuana possession of one to ten pounds.

Additional charges could be pending for the grow operation and having an illegal fire arm. The charges could come from the state and federal level.
