A Sioux Falls bank robber is on the loose and police is looking for assistance in the man’s capture.

On Thursday (April 27) at 11:44 AM a man wearing a black trenchcoat with a hood and bandana covering his face told a clerk at the Voyage Federal Credit Union on North Kiwanis that he had a weapon and demanded money. Though no weapon was displayed, the clerk complied.

After receiving money from the clerk which believed to be over $1,000, police say he left the business heading east on foot. No one was injured during the exchange.

Sioux Falls Police released the surveillance footage of the robbery which you can view below.

KDLT News reports that the FBI is the lead organization on the case. In addition, the Sioux Falls Crime Lab is assisting with processing the crime scene.

Police say the suspect is 5-10, has a thin build and is between 20 and 30 years old. If the public has any information, please pass it along to the police or Crimestoppers at 605-367-7007.
