Loyal Dog Waits for Master

I guess I'm a softy when it comes to dogs. Remember the story last week about the hunter trapped in the ice while his faithful dog never left his side? Well, proving that pets have learned the true meaning of love and devotion, the web has fallen in love with this heartbreaking photo.

Ciccio, a 12-year-old German shepherd, who has attended church in San Donaci, Italy every day since his owner died in November, used to escort her to church every afternoon when she was alive.Now, Ciccio has become a regular part of the service.

The priest doesn't have the heart to shoo him away, letting him sit by the altar during service. The worshipers don't mind, either.
