Local Inventors In QVC Competition

Have you ever heard of the Doorhickey? Well, shame on you. It is a contraption that makes it easier to slide open sliding glass doors and such when your hands are full. So convenient. Why didn't I think of that?

It was invented by Ginger Thomson and Jay Vanduch of Brookings about 20 years ago and now all their hard work may be paying off.

The Doorhickey is part of QVC's Sprout competition, which is a crowdfunding project that is voted on by consumers. The inventor that gets the most votes well then be featured on QVC! How exciting?
