On Thursday night, SDSU did what everyone expected them to do, roll in their opener. The Jacks started off hot and never looked back.

Also on Thursday night, the University of Sioux Falls kicked off the Jon Anderson era with a W as well. Going on the road and taking care of business with a 26-7 win over the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

It wasn't a great start to the season for Augustana as they hosted and were defeated by MSU Moorhead at KO Stadium.  The Dragons scored in every quarter including 14 in the 1st that got them out to a 14-7 lead and never looked back winning 38-7.

If Bob Nielson could of drawn up a score at halftime of their opener, even he wouldn't of thought it would of been 56-7.  The final was pretty sweet too... 77-7.
