Put this unique event on your must-attend Christmas event list! Imagine turning your home into a life-sized Gingerbread House with Santa sitting in your living room and delighted children taking pieces of delicious candy right off of the house to savor along with the memories. This has been the situation many times for the Rasmusson family of Sioux Falls.

They love doing the work of putting this remarkable event together not just because of their appreciative young patrons, but because it is also a fundraiser for McCrossan's Boys Ranch which is very near and dear to their hearts. McCrossan's Boys Ranch is "dedicated to providing a place for boys to grow into men". They reach out to boys between the ages of nine and twenty who have "experienced conflict in their lives" and help them "to heal and grow intellectually".

This wonderful family event is Saturday, December 19, 2015, from 4 to 8 PM at 128 West Carmel Lane (nope, not kidding- about the Carmel, that is) in Sioux Falls. To get there, take Minnesota Avenue south to St. Andrews Drive and head East to Carmel Lane. The cost is $3 per child or $12 per family (maximum) and all proceeds benefit McCrossan's Boys Ranch.

Hundreds of pieces of candy will be coating the house along with Christmas lights galore! McCrossan's will have horse-drawn wagons for you to take a ride in, kids can visit and have their pictures taken with Santa and then take a candy souvenir of their experience.

For more information check out McCrossan's Facebook event page, their website or call (605)-339-1203.
