On Saturday, history was made in college football and it had nothing to do with yards rushed, touchdowns thrown or points scored.

It had to do with Tulane's long snapper Aaron Golub who became the first legally blind player to play in a college football game.

He was inserted into the game after Tulane's first score on Saturday and made history as the long snapper for the extra point.

According to Yahoo.com, Golub said he treated his game snap as the thousands of snaps he'd taken before.

Golub is a walk on at Tulane is actually one of two legally blind long snappers on active rosters as USC has Jake Olson who also is blind because of a rare cancer that caused the loss of both eyes.

Tulane won on Saturday over Central Florida 45-17.
