Lee Brice's 2013 hit barely missed being a unanimous first round selection for this Top Songs of the Century list. "I Drive Your Truck" has a resume that includes CMA and Grammy nominations and a big win at the 2014 ACM Awards. It also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and went platinum for one million singles sold.

“It's such an emotional song, and how the song came about was really pivotal,” says ToC's Hilary Billings, calling it a career-changer for Brice.

“It’s one that speaks to a lot of different people for a lot of different reasons,” Associate Editor Sterling Whitaker adds. "That’s kind of what country music is, that kind of storytelling and seeing yourself in the songs."

Many CMA or ACM Award-winning songs have disappeared shortly after earning a trophy, but "I Drive Your Truck" lives on in the hearts of military families, if nowhere else. Brice has continued to breathe life into the song through touching or charitable gestures. Few of served can hear this song without stopping to recognize the impact. That's the definition of a Song of the Century.
