Lady Antebellum may need to add a fourth member after the trio joined Cam on stage at CMA Fest on Thursday night (June 9) for a performance of “Burning House.” The three brought a new level of depth and emotion to Cam's ballad with their multi-layered harmonies.

Hillary Scott even took a verse herself before the quartet sang a chorus a capella. Cam turned it over to the enormous Nissan Stadium audience for a chorus, who sang it back at full volume.

It’s not the first time Cam and Lady A have joined forces. The artists teamed up for a cover of the Dixie Chicks’ “Cowboy Take Me Away” last September at the Allegan County Fair in Michigan, and it was just as impressive. Relative newcomer Cam expressed her excitement at sharing a stage with the veteran country stars after the performance, exclaiming "I'm on stage with Lady Antebellum!" — a sentiment she shared on Instagram after the Michigan show, as well.

“Feeling like a kid whose dreams just came true,” she wrote.

Lady A seem to be back in action after a small stint off the road, which included member Charles Kelley's solo tour (and a baby) and a gospel project from Scott. They’re now on a summer tour, including several festival appearances, wrapping in August in Minnesota.

Cam recently released a new music video for her single “Mayday,” and when she’s not on tour with Dierks Bentley, is busy planning her wedding. She says it’s been tough to balance, though.

"When you're so consumed, when your art and your life are super intertwined like this, it’s really hard to put on the brakes for a second and be like, 'Let's focus on something else,'" she explains. “You’re going so hard. You’re so entrenched in it. It’s hard to step aside for a second."
